Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Aequida Research LLC ("Aequida", "we") collects, how we use it, and what we never do with it. It covers our surveys, our text messages, our survey panel, and this website. Effective October 5, 2026.

Who we are

Aequida Research LLC is an independent opinion and market research firm based in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Our texts and our survey site identify us as Aequida. Contact: hello@aequida.com, 116 N Washington Ave, Fl 3, Ste 3284, Scranton, PA 18503.

Information we collect

  • Survey answers you choose to give us.
  • The mobile number we texted, and whether you opened the survey, answered, or opted out.
  • For public polls, information from public voter files and similar research sources, such as age, sex, party registration and geography, used to draw samples and weight results.
  • If you join our survey panel: your first name, mobile number, ZIP code, and a record of your consent to receive texts (the date, time and the consent wording you agreed to).
  • Messages you send us through our contact form, by email or by text.
  • Basic technical information that any website receives, such as your browser type and the pages requested. This site does not use advertising cookies or trackers.

How we use it

  • To run surveys and produce research results for groups of people.
  • To weight results so they describe the population accurately.
  • To send survey invitations to panel members who asked for them.
  • To honor opt-outs and avoid contacting the same person more than necessary.
  • To answer your questions and run our business.

What we never do

  • We never sell or rent our respondent list or your personal information.
  • We never publish or release anyone’s individual answers. Results are reported only for groups.
  • We never use survey contact for advocacy, persuasion, fundraising or get-out-the-vote work.
  • No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

Text messages (SMS)

We send survey invitations by text. A text from us names Aequida, explains that it is a short survey, links only to aequidapolls.com, and tells you how to opt out. We send at most one reminder per survey, only Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Eastern, and never on Sundays. We never sell anything or ask for money by text.

Panel members agree to receive about four survey texts a year by checking an unchecked consent box on our panel signup form. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@aequida.com. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies; panel members receive about four survey invitations a year.

Text and email are separate. Opting in to one does not opt you in to the other, and opting out of one does not opt you out of the other.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties or affiliates. We use service providers, such as the telecommunications carriers that deliver our messages, only to send and receive texts on our behalf.

Service providers

We use service providers for website hosting, email, and text-message delivery. They process information only to provide those services to us and may not use it for their own purposes.

Your choices

You can decline any survey, skip any question, and opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. To ask about your information, or to have the contact details we hold for you deleted, email hello@aequida.com.

Changes and contact
